About Light + Building

Light + Building is the international meeting place for manufacturers from the lighting, electrical engineering, home and building automation and connected security technology sectors. The most important visitor groups include architects, interior architects, designers, planners and engineers as well as craftsmen, trade and industry.

The modern building is intelligent, connected and as a result saves energy. In combination with alternative energy sources and efficient lighting solutions, emissions in the building sector can be drastically reduced. This makes a significant contribution to achieving climate targets. 2,169 exhibitors presented the latest developments in building technology and trends in innovative lighting design at Light + Building in Frankfurt am Main from 3 to 8 March 2024. Over 151,000 visitors travelled to the world's leading trade fair for lighting and building-services technology.

Light + Building and ISH in Frankfurt are outstanding international presentation platforms for the products of manufacturers of market-ready solutions, systems and products for house and building automation. Held in alternate years, the two leading trade fairs offer companies working in the field of house and building automation the best possible opportunity to present their latest products and innovations – at Light + Building where the focus is on electrical engineering and at ISH which spotlights the heating, air-conditioning, ventilation and sanitation sector.

At both events, the interdisciplinary field of house and building automation plays a decisive role, albeit with different focal points.
